Tinea Versicolor also known as Pityriasis versicolor is skin depigmentation condition in which flaky white patches appears on the chest and back. The color of patches may vary from white, pink to brown It is mainly due to the abnormal growth of Malassezia, a yeast which is present on normal skin. It can occur at any age, but it is more common in age group of 12-25.
