It is one of the success stories by our client of providing his suffering for vitiligo. (The name of this person is not published due to privacy reason as promised to our client)I was diagnosed with Vitiligo in May, 2006. It started at the age of 20 with a spot on my right hand. Initially I ignored it but as the count grew, I consulted a physician. He diagnosed me with Vitiligo and told me everything I had to know including the hard fact that there is no cure or remedy for this disease. So I decided to take second advice from a skin specialist.
I visited two dermatologists who also said more or less the same. According to them my condition was a mild one and they asked me not to worry because they had seen worse. May be they were trying to make me feel better but it didn’t work. Instead I felt horrible.
My Vitiligo gradually spread on hands, leg and eventually on my face. Growing up with this really dampened my self esteem and confidence. I isolated myself from people. I didn't know what to wear or what would look good on me. I always covered my full body when ever I had to go out.
I have been suffering with Vitiligo for the past 6 years now. I researched about it a lot, but every time I had the same response that Vitiligo cure is yet to be discovered, and there is nothing that can be done about it.
