Propotic Ointment
Propotic ointment is a immunosuppressive drug that is used to reduce the activity of patient's immune system and reduce the production of antibodies by T-cells. As an ointment Protopic is used as treatment for diseases like Uveitis, eczema and skin condition Vitiligo usually when no other treatments prescribed by doctor works. The safety of using propotic ointment for a long time can not be assured. The use of propotic ointment for a long time is not recommended also it is forbid to use for children under 2 years.PROTOPIC Ointment comes in two strengths:
- Only PROTOPIC Ointment 0.03% is for use on children aged 2 to 15 years.
- Either PROTOPIC Ointment 0.03% or 0.1% can be used by adults and children 16 years and older.
