Acrofacial Vitiligo
Vitiligo is a chronic condition in which melanocytes (the cells that make pigment) in the skin are destroyed, affecting 1% to 2% of the population of world. Acrofacial Vitiligo is a type of vitiligo in which white patches appear only on distal end of fingers and facial orifices in circumferential pattern. This means that the white spot are restricted to parts away from the center of the body. Affecting distal extremities and face. Some patches on face and some on other body parts, but not on all over the body.
